The Code of Excellence was developed as a tool for employers and electricians alike to be held accountable to each other in producing the best quality electrical installation possible for the end-use customer.
This accountability is enforced by a joint committee of Labor and Management, who meet regularly to deal with issues, attitudes, and work practices that could otherwise negatively affect a project. Through this accountability, the message has spread, "An honest day's work for and honest day's pay."
Our Employers welcome Local 640's assistance in developing best practices on jobsites, and to making suggestions on how to increase efficiency and productivity.
In Local 640's jurisdiction, all jobsites fall under the accountability established by the Code of Excellence. Learn more by clicking the link below.
